Project: Dimitri Couture Office + Showroom Location: Madison Avenue and 57th Street, New York City

Piero Dimitri's space needs had changed and expanded as he expanded his business as a master-tailor to include fashion design. The full-floor space, redesigned with colleague Joseph Cerami, encompasses a showroom and work space. The formal front half was organized into a series of areas accommodating the various clothing offerings, divided by a progression of free-standing white partitions set among darker walls, ceiling, and floor. Strategically placed mirrors throughout the layout give a feeling of space in tight areas.
