Project: Playground Nightclub Location: Chelsea / New York City

Playground was created on the second floor of a loft building on West 22nd Street, near the former home of Ehrich Brother's Dry Goods store, recalling the ghosts of the late-nineteenth century when this neighborhood was last fashionable as "Ladies Mile." The crumbling loft space was neither gutted nor cleaned up; instead it was used as a backdrop for new plexiglass partitions that delineated more intimate lounge and table seating areas apart from the main dance floor.
